New & Improved
So, update.. After the "TNT" situation, I was fired from Dave N Buster's.
But the craziest part is, I was rehired as a server at another restaurant, because a lady who came into Dave N' Busters was like "hey you're so sweet, you should come work at my restaurant," a few weeks before everything went down with "TNT." (Read previous blogpost if completely lost)
Anyway, I applied, got hired on the spot because the lady who referred me has serious clout.
Talk about God sent right?
So, I've been at this new place and am absolutely fitting in.
It's a pretty small franchised restaurant so I'm really treated like family.
Plus its at the airport which means steady foot traffic on most days.
No drama, all laughs, awesome service and money.
I've learned the menu and have 4 days this week.
At first I was bummed out about DnB, yet everything happens for a reason. Let me prove why..
The week I was sent home "until further review," was graduation week. So instead of working the day before and after, I had off. I spent more time with loved ones and I was able to travel to Columbia, SC. I say that as if it's not only 2 hours away.
I had one of those amazing weekends.
I booked two events for the photo booth business. I met some amazing brides and secured some weddings for the remainder of this year and future years to come.
Countryside Photo Booth won an award for "Most Interactive Booth"...
I ran my first street 5k and... received an award for coming 1st in my division.
I learned more about myself during that week off than I recently had time to do in the past.
The last few months have had me in a set routine. Now that I'm degreed, I make my own routine.
If it weren't for me being taken off the schedule that week I probably wouldn't have been able to enjoy such weekend.
I met a pretty cool dude, but we won't talk about him until he asks me to marry him.
Lol, totally not kidding. I want him to carefully place his children inside of me.
Seriously, he looks like my future son.
Nah, but we had an awesome time together. Endless laughter, drinks and music.
What else does a girl need?
Lately, I've been working to pay bills but have really been focusing on formulating my business to function without you having to present. My money makes me money.
Although my business van went out this past week, I'm sure I'll understand how this all plays into the greater equation soon.
Grateful and highly favored.
Sipping on wine and watching Martin until I fall asleep. Ciao! Till next post.
Always,
Jess
