Greetings 2024
Wow, a whole year has flown by and quite frankly I'm not displeased with this past year but I can definitely say that I dodged a few bullets and am most certainly blessed and highly favored. 2023 was decent. Now, let's talk about the pros and cons of course..
PROS:
Stayed in the same apartment for 3 years. Which essentially translates into a positive 3 year rental history.
Organized a plan for my life, if I were actually the one in charge of it.
Remained humble and out of trouble and up to date on my bills.
Consistently deep conditioned my hair.
Doubled the products to my online store.
Became active at church.
Added some puppies to our family.
Spent valuable time with family.
Improved my nail technician skills.
Learned about Amazon FBA and opened a new store!
Recorded my first mixtape!
CONS:
I was fired, twice.
Ended the year with a violent stalker and filing a restraining order.
Forced to leave comfy apartment.
Used 100% of my savings.
Involved in a not at fault accident.
ANDDDDDDDD the first couple days in January was spent in jail because of a man with road rage.
BUT GOD! Yes, God himself had to come down and place me and my puppies in a safe space away from the drama, hate and discouragement. Speaking of which, let us pray.
God, its me, Jess. I was under the impression that everyone would have my sincerity, kindness, and humble nature, however that has shown to not be the case AT ALL. Initially, I thought giving more energy to problem areas would make things better. That was also not the case at all. And to be honest, I thought I'd be treated a little kinder. I wasn't expecting the most expensive treatment, but no treatment at all? I may be blind to what one day I will have full understanding of. yet, until then, I remain patient, humble and kind.
God, thank you. Thank you for the things I know you've done and things I have yet to know of.. Thanks for constantly being a foundation to our motives and the driving force behind why people do what they do. God thanks for leading me and guiding me in the right directions. God in the past i have been used and requested to be used for thy will to be done, however to be honest, I think we all need to take some time to rest and reflect on our progress as a whole. Also, I am willing and able to keep quiet about the gifts to be given, both for myself and others. This year I'll be sure to take my own advice, get rest, track my progression and do so humbly.
So far so good.
Always,
Thy faithful servant,
Jessica A. Gelibert
